Wout van Aert had his first successes in cyclocross. Three years in a row, Van Aert became world champion in cyclo-cross. The Belgian Championship cyclo-cross has even been on his palmares four times. Van Aert combines the field with road cycling, because he also made it to the world top at road cycling.

Wout Van Aert has been known for some time at Optiek Van Gorp. Who still remembers his call on Twitter after he lost his favorite (golden) sports glasses after the World Cup in Bogense, Denmark?! He also wore a unique Oakley Radar EV in French flag with cobblestone motif for his participation in Paris-Roubaix in 2018.

Van Aert has been working for Team Jumbo-Visma since 2019. In the same year he would ride to the Belgian time trial title and do it again a year later. Sports glasses sponsor of Team Jumbo Visma is the Dutch company AGU. Together with AGU we were already allowed to put a few pieces for Wout Van Aert in matching colors, such as a ‘Team Belgium’ Edition in blue with the Belgian flag.

Together with his wife Sarah, they are also godfather and godmother of the Foundation To Walk Again, founded by ambitious triathlete Marc Herremans. This organization has grown and is the reference par excellence where people with a physical disability are challenged in a safe and positive environment through sport and exercise.
